I was delighted to get a call from an old college friend. He is now the Director of Youth Services at Seattle's Union Gospel Mission. With a staff retreat coming up, my client needed artwork for a black hoodie. Gifts for his staff. He came across a postcard I created years ago — one of my faceless figures. Seeing my artwork and having his theme in mind — "A New Song" — he came to me to create an illustration for the zip-front hoodies. I was given the Hebrew text for "a new song" and inspiration from Psalm 40. Here's what I came up with!
